Looking for an energetic, flexible team player who has a love for children and drive to help educate them. This position is for full time Lead Infant Teacher Monday through Friday. You would be taking care of between 4-5 babies’ ages 6 weeks to 12 months of age each day. As a Lead Teacher you would be responsible for the creation of lesson plans for the classroom, creating and maintaining portfolios for each child, completing assessments on the children, developing a loving, educational, safe, inviting and warm environment for the child to be in each day. Other responsibilities would include taking care of the day to day needs of the children, keeping your classroom neat and organized and following all state and Childtime rules. This role will eventually require you to obtain your CDA but here at Childtime we offer this program at no cost to you! After your 90 days we will enroll you into the online courses that you do at home and just need to be completed within 4 months. Once these courses are completed and you have received your certification you will earn a pay raise. Don’t worry if you have little to no experience because, we here at Childtime have an extensive training program were we will take you through all state and Childtime rules along with how our curriculum works and is implemented in the classrooms. Once you are full time you will receive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K plan, PTO and so much more. 

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll: 

  • Create fun, interactive learning experiences while serving as a mentor to fellow Teachers. 
  • Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. 
  • Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure a safe environment for every child. 
  • Communicate and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.   

We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:  

  • Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans. 
  • CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • The ability to meet state requirements for education and additional center requirements.  
  • Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
