In the Director in Training (DIT) role, we look for committed individuals who want to have a positive impact in the lives of children and their families, while learning to efficiently run all school operations. The DIT works alongside the Center Director to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children and work with the staff to create a warm, inspiring environment, while keeping parents informed and engaged.  The DIT will shadow an existing Director to learn company systems and best practices before moving to their own school.

As a Director in Training, you get to:

  • Lead! Manage school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans. Assist with the implementation of Company-provided curriculum, which includes coaching, communicating, and interpreting standards with teachers.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Associate, or bachelor’s degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Must meet state education and experience requirements for child care director.
  • Must have 90 hours in Preschool and School Age 
  • 2 years of supervisory/management experience; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.
