This position ensures children with disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioral challenges are fully integrated into learning environments at Learning Care. The Early Childhood Inclusion Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert for the Company’s compliance initiatives and processes, including guidance and communications with our schools related to children with Special Needs, Diabetes Management, Infant Awareness and Severe Allergy packets in classrooms. In addition, the position will maintain reports, data and information related to ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) administration.
Essential Functions:
- Be a partner to field/school operators by providing recommendations and guidance on matters involving child health & safety issues and accommodations.
- Serve as subject matter expert in Early Childcare Inclusion and partners with cross functional teams including Risk Department, Legal Department, Customer Service, and Behavior Support, Education, Licensing, etc. as well as with field leaders and school operators.
- Review, update, and maintain policies, procedures, and processes regarding Early Childcare Inclusion to ensure compliance with ADA regulations.
- Execute intake of special needs packets, complete investigation within 72 hours, maintain database administration, and prepare a collaborative decision in partnership with School Management.
- Final decision maker for enrollment of children with ADA packets, Diabetes Management, Severe Allergies, Infant Awareness, and all other inclusion type enrollments
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience working with children as it relates to Early Childcare Inclusion and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) required.
- 2-5 years of experience in Early Child Care or Early Childhood/Elementary Education preferred.

- Proficient time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet established deadlines.

- Able to work in a multi-unit environment.
- Skilled interpersonal skills with training of school staff, field leaders, and cross functional teams via virtual platforms
Proficient computer skills with strong understanding and use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation based on position, education and experience. Bi-weekly paid.
- $65-70,000 base salary
- This position is also eligible for our Support Central bonus program which is based on annual achievement of company performance.
