Looking for an energetic, flexible team player who has a love for children and a drive to help educate them. This position is for a full time teacher Monday through Friday. You would be taking care 6 month – 1 year old babies each day. As a Lead Teacher you would be responsible for maintaining the day to day operations and responsibilities of the classroom, creating and implementing daily lessons, completing observations and assessments, keeping up with children’s portfolios, communicating with parents and caring for the needs of the children along with maintaining all paperwork for the classroom. If you don’t already have a CDA or Associates in Early Childhood the company will pay for you to take your CDA online after your 90 days is over. Also after your 90 days you will be classified as a full time employee and you will be eligible for our benefits that include medical, dental, vision, 401K plan, PTO and so much more. Don’t worry if you have little to no experience because, here at Childtime we have a very extensive 2 week training program that you will go through that will cover not only all the requirements that State has for working in childcare but also Childtime policies and procedures along with how we use our curriculum to assess and educate the children in the classroom.   

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll: 

  • Create fun, interactive learning experiences while serving as a mentor to fellow Teachers. 
  • Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. 
  • Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure a safe environment for every child. 
  • Communicate and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.   

We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:  

  • Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans. 
  • CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • The ability to meet state requirements for education and additional center requirements.  
  • Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
