Job Summary:

The Multimedia Designer will actively create original, imaginative, and engaging digital assets across LCG brand portfolios that will impact parents and children in playful and informative ways. Work collaboratively within the Creative team to create internal and external brand materials. Leverage ability to combine text, audio, and photography to create powerful and impactful video and digital content.


Essential Functions:

  • Create graphics and animation using computer programs and illustrations.
  • Work with a creative team of various abilities to create internal and external brand materials.
  • Research upcoming projects to help create realistic designs or animations.
  • Attend meetings and provide guidance and direction on key projects and initiatives.
  • Translate scripts into a compelling sequence for video and visual effects.
  • Develop storyboards that map out key scenes in animations.
  • Edit animations and effects on the basis of feedback from in-house customers.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meet with key stakeholders and other staff to review deadlines and development timelines.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • BA degree in computer graphics, graphic design, art, or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro required.
  • Proficient with other Adobe Suite products preferred.

  • Excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Capable of working with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
  • Effective communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal.
  • Proficient time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet established deadlines.
  • Experience in video editing, illustrating, and shooting capabilities.
  • Ability to create for social, digital, and traditional media.
  • Proven work experience as an animator and familiar with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
  • Ability to showcase a creative portfolio with strong technical skills.
  • Possess an artistic ability and a good understanding of color, texture, and light. 
  • Ability to think creatively to develop original ideas and bring them to life.
