The Digital Product User Experience Researcher will help drive innovation, collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to deliver best in class customer experiences. This role will work closely with support staff, end users and design, to execute user research and field-test potential enhancements and application optimization.  By analyzing application usage, sentiment, and other organizational data, you will understand, prioritize and communicate fuel and friction points to increase overall satisfaction and user engagement.


Essential Functions:

  • Implement and plan the overall user research strategy and methods.
  • Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by conducting user research and assessing performance/usage metrics. 
  • Conduct upfront research before features are developed, finding pain points and friction for existing users and organizing product insights for improvements in current designs and planned implementation.
  • Conduct competitive analysis.
  • Utilize a wide range of methods, including field studies, heuristics, usability and focus groups.
  • Create clear research guides outlining the study’s goals, how it will be achieved and any required talk track.
  • Synthesize and consolidate research into meaningful product insights and recommendations.
  • Provide research results to cross functional teams and stakeholders. 
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and cadences.



Supervisory Responsibilities:



Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of user experience/design and current industry best practices. 
  • 3-6 years of conducting user experience research.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics preferred.

  • Capable of working in consumer-facing mobile & web product-based technology products.
  • Ability to work with qualitative and user-centered design methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies.
